Well, my BIRTHDAY for one! Today is New Years Eve, one day until my 24th birthday. Has it really been that long? So what are my accomplishments so far? 24 years ago, I was born off the coast of California. 22 years ago, we moved from the sunny state to the sportsman state and have been here ever since. It was here where I began and excelled at school. Within a year, not only had I tested into the Talented Art program because of my incessant need to doodle, but I also got accepted into the Talented Music program for my singing. Tomorrow's my birthday again. I'll be... 23? Oh my... And what have I accomplished this year? A WHOLE DANG LOT!!!!!!!! Because I went to China, studied Chinese intensively, taught ESL to foreigners, and completed most of my coursework for graduation. That's four major checkmarks off of my list of things to accomplish in my life. One more semester, and then I'm out of college for now. This year, I plan to move forward and set real life goals. I am enrolling for TEFL certification TODAY. In another week or so, I'll start my last semester of college. I'm also looking for a new, and more full time, occupation. I hate when I sit around with nothing to do. It seems all I do these days is either procrastinate or wait. These two activities are essentially the same thing. Maybe I'll get some art done then. or maybe read one of those books I should be done with already... I'm really not inspired to draw anything, but I'll see what I can do.
